Founder and Chief Executive Officer
John built the very first proof-of-concept prototype of Inkpath while at Oxford back in 2013 and has been developing the idea and growing the business ever since.
Before Inkpath, John was Training Officer for the Humanities Division at Oxford and a Research Associate at Wadham College. Before that he taught Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in the English Department at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he was Caroline Spurgeon Research Fellow.
Client Success Manager
Liam’s role as part of the Client Success team is to support Chris in ensuring our Inkpath customers receive an excellent experience. Liam joins with a wealth of experience of customer/client success in the education sector, having worked at an employer with over half the UK’s secondary schools as customers.
Client Success Executive
Marc’s role working as part of the Client Success team is to support our customers, ensuring they receive an excellent experience. Marc has spent the last 7 years in the EdTech industry, supporting customers across a range of products. He has previously worked in Secondary Education and has also managed a 3rd Sector employability project for young people.
Client Engagement Manager
Chloe’s role at Inkpath is to manage our client engagement activities, working closely with our prospective clients to help them incorporate Inkpath into their plans and overseeing our marketing and social media presence.
Chloe is an experienced project manager and writer in marketing and medical education. Chloe has a BSc in Biochemistry, a MSc in Dance Science and has worked as a Lecturer in Higher Education.
Client Success Manager and Product Lead
Chris’s role is to ensure the growing number of Inkpath customers are receiving the best possible experience.
Chris was originally a Computer Scientist and joins Inkpath with a range of experience that includes fifteen years in the education industry covering teaching, senior management, inspection and consultancy, roles in technology start-ups and experience of GDPR.
Full Stack Developer
Neal’s role is to plan and develop new and exciting features for the Inkpath web and mobile applications.
Neal has worked within IT environments for over 15 years, with the last 7 focussed on developing software applications in the wholesale, accountancy and digital advertising industries.
Senior PHP/Laravel Developer
Sara’s role is to focus on Inkpath’s back end, administration portal and database, ensuring that Inkpath’s architecture is flexible and future-proof.
Sara is a server-side developer with 10+ years experience in delivering applications for two major UK publishers and has played a pivotal role in the creation of pioneering e-learning products and academic publishing systems.
PHP/Laravel Developer
Tomas’s role focuses on developing new features and improvements for Inkpath’s administration portal and continually enhancing architecture and infrastructure. Tomas has 17+ years experience working in different IT subfields, including 10 years working on healthcare systems and comparison engines for the airport marketplace. Tomas is also working on his MSc in Computer Science.
Board Director
David is a Senior Investment Manager at Oxford University Innovation, where he creates, invests in and manages a portfolio of University spinouts. He is a non-executive director of Refeyn Ltd and a board observer for several other spinouts.
He has more than a decade of experience in the global VC industry from his time at VenCap International, where he led fund investments in Europe, the US and Asia. He has a DPhil from Oxford University in Materials Science and a Chemistry degree from Manchester University.
Board Director
After graduating from the University of Oxford and qualifying as a solicitor, Richard spent 8 years with an international insurance brokerage, followed by 15 years in corporate finance. From 2004 he was Group Head of Legal and Commercial Affairs at Petrofac Limited, from which he retired in 2015. Since 2021, Richard has held the role of Chief Commercial Officer of Venterra Group.
